On Tuesday evening at 8:51pm the East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Downingtown Fire Department at a reported house fire in the area of Bradford Ave & Viaduct Ave. Assistant 45 arrived in the area and had smoke showing from a 10x20 home to the rear of another home next to the train station.

Engine 49-5, Ladder 49 and Engine 49-2 made the response with 26 volunteers. On arrival crews assisted interior crews from Downingtown. Luckily the fire was contained very quickly by first in crews and the assignment was quickly reduced.
