On Tuesday afternoon November 16th East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to a reported out building fire.

Additionally the Glen Moore Fire Company, Honey Brook Fire Company, Wagontown Fire Company, Thorndale Fire Company, Veterns Hospital Fire Department and the Modena Fire Company were also due.

Chief 49 arrived on-scene to find a single family dwelling encircled by fire on 3 sides. Also due to wind gusts the fire had advanced into the woods which surrounding the home.

Personnel from all of the responding Companies deployed multiple hand lines and quickly extinguished the fire. Fire was brought under control within 20 minutes of arrival.
