The volunteers of East Brandywine Fire Company kicked off this years training calendar with two nights of refresher and review.

On Wednesday January 24th, Training Officer Chris Keen and Captain PJ Groff provided and extensive overview of our MSA SCBA as well as the Companies RIT Pack. This important training reviewed use of the SCBA as well as cleaning and routing checks.

On Wednesday January 31st representatives from The FireStore provided an overview of both rotary and chainsaws. A comprehensive review was provided as well as a detailed review of post-use cleaning and maintenance. Additionally participants had an opportunity to demo new saws and blade technology.

The Line Officers would like to thank all of the volunteers who continue to dedicate time to learning their craft.
