On Tuesday evening at 11:12pm EBFC volunteers were dispatched to assist the West Bradford Fire Company on a reported house fire in the 1300 block of Piedmont Dr. Initial reports were of a fire in the chimney that was spreading to the walls.

Batallion 49 arrived on location first and reported fire showing from the roof on the "C" side of the building and requested the working fire dispatch. Chief 39 arrived and assumed command while crews from 39 arrived and began fire attack.

Ladder 49 and Engine 49-5 arrived and crews placed ground ladders around the building and went to the roof to begin opening up. Engine 49-5 stretched a supply line to Tanker 39 to supply them with water if needed as well.

Crews worked on scene for over an hour. The fire was placed under control at 11:32pm
