At 05:36am on March 23rd, EBFC volunteers were dispatched to assist Station 33 (Honey Brook) on a reported apartment fire in the 800 block of Maple Street, Honey Brook.

Chief 33 arrived and reported fire showing from the roof of a 2 1/2 story dwelling and requested the working fire dispatch. Engine 33 arrived and put an 1 3/4 handline in service and encountered heavy fire and heat in the attic area. Ladder 49, Rescue 49 and Engine 49-5 all made the response from EBFC. Ladder 49 arrived and took a position to the rear of the home and place the aerial to the roof and assisted roof crews.

Fire was placed under control at 6:09am
