This afternoon at 4:41pm, EBFC units were dispatched to assist the Honey Brook Fire Department with a working fire at King Casual Furniture located on Westbrooke Dr in Honey Brook Township. Ladder 49, Rescue 49, Engine 49-2, and QRS 49 all responded within minutes of dispatch. Units from Honey Brook arrived with normal conditions on the outside but found a working fire in the diesel room on the C/D corner of the building and stretched a line. Ladder 49, Rescue 49, and QRS 49 arrived and crews assisted on scene. The fire was placed under control quickly, and Engine 49-2 was diverted while en route to cover Station 33. A total of 21 volunteers responded from EBFC.
