Accident with Entrapment on 322

East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched to an accident reported serious on Rt. 322 west of Rt. 82. The call was upgraded to entrapment and Rescues 48 and 45 were added to the assignment.

The driver of the car was heavily entrapped. Extrication was complete in 21 minutes. The patient was flown by Skyflight Care to Reading Hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

The officers and members of the East Brandywine Fire Company extend their thoughts and prayers to the patient and the patient's family.
