Just after midnight on Friday morning, EBFC and Minquas EMS were dispatched to an auto accident at Hopewell and Creek Rd in East Brandywine Township. Initial reports were of a one vehicle accident into a guardrail and down into a ditch.

Battalion 49, Rescue, QRS and Utility 49 made the response and on arrival confirmed one vehicle into a ditch after going through the guardrail. The occupant had already self extricated and was treated and transported by EMS.

Due to the extensive damage to the guardrail it was decided it needed to be cut to safely remove it off the roadway so no one else hit it. The crew from Rescue 49 utilitzed a Milwaukee saw to safely cut the guardrail and remove it.

East Brandywine PD remained on scene while Flings Towing removed the vehicle.
