On Wednesday May 18, EBFC firefighters traveled to the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus for part two of our hoseline advancement training series. Station 49 firefighters focused on advancing charged hose lines to the top floors of the training tower. Teams of six practiced communication and techniques they had learned the prior week.

While the company trained, the officer staff attended FF Saravanan Manikandan's Fire 1 graduation ceremony. FF Manikandan joined the company after touring our open house, quickly beginning his 200 hour training to become a firefighter. EBFC congratulates FF Manikandan on his accomplishment becoming an interior qualified firefighter and looks forward to his continued success serving the community.

41 members participated in training night, graduation, and conducted interviews of potential new members back at the station.
