As units were returning to station on Saturday night from the fire in Uwchlan, MICU 187 was dispatched to Dorlan Mill Rd in Upper Uwchlan for a vehicle accident reported with an odor of something burning coming from the vehicle.

Assistant 49, Rescue 49 and Engine 49-2 were still on the roadway and due to Station 47 units still being at the house fire EBFC units responded to the accident along with West Whiteland Engine 6-2 and Chief 6 who were also still on the road. Assistant 49 arrived first and had one vehicle off the roadway on an embankment with the occupant out of the vehicle. Luckily no injuries to the occupant involved and the assignment was turned over to PD and fire units cleared within a few minutes.
