On Tuesday evening at 7:34pm the East Brandywine Fire Company was dispatched as the RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) to Modena Borough for a report of a garage fire. Modena Fire Company along with other mutual aid departments were also dispatched on the call.

Rescue 49, Ladder 49 and Engine 49-5 made the response from EBFC.

Engine 37 from Modena arrived on scene and laid a supply line into the scene and arrived with a 15x20 detached garage with smoke showing and stretched a line. Crews found a small fire in the garage and quickly got water on the fire and the fire was placed under control at 7:48pm.

Crews from EBFC stood by on scene and assisted with rolling supply line before being cleared from the scene.
