| On Tuesday at 1:15pm the Company was dispatched to the 100blk of Constitution Dr in East Brandywine Township for a report of a brush fire. Assistant 76 was on scene reporting a 100x100 area on fire with exposure to a shed.
Engine 49-5 along with Utility 49-1 and 49-2 made the response to the scene and on arrival crews found a large area of grass and other debris that had been on fire but was mostly out and just smoldering at that time.
Crews utilized the brush skid on Utility 49-2 along with an 1 3/4 from Engine 49-5 to wet down the entire area and made sure the fire was completly out. Crews also double checked a shed that had some of the siding that began to melt from the heat but found no issues.
The company was on scene for approximately 30 minutes before clearing the scene. |
