Fire Prevention - Hopewell Preschool Day 2

🚒🔥 EBFC 49 FIRE PREVENTION – DAY 3! 🔥🚒
Fire Prevention activities continued today as members of the East Brandywine Fire Company returned to Hopewell Preschool for our second visit!
Our crew had another great time talking with the students about fire safety and prevention, showing them some of the equipment we use, and giving them an up-close look at Engine 49-1 and QRS 49.
We always enjoy spending time with the children in our community and helping teach important fire safety lessons at an early age.
Thank you once again to Hopewell Preschool for having us!
Next week, Fire Prevention continues with visits to Pope John Paul, Reeceville, and Brandywine Wallace!
October is always a busy month for our volunteers. Along with multiple Fire Prevention visits, our members will be participating in several events throughout our local community, preparing for and hosting our annual Open House, and, of course, continuing to staff the station and respond to emergencies as they happen.
All of this is made possible by our dedicated volunteers who give their time to not only respond when our community needs us, but also to educate, engage with, and serve the community throughout the year.
🚒 Don’t forget — our Open House is Wednesday, October 14th from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the firehouse! Come out and meet your volunteers, check out the station and apparatus, enjoy fire safety demonstrations, kids activities, a vehicle rescue demonstration, and much more!
