Large Wood Pile Fire

Late this afternoon East Brandywine along with our mutual aid departments were dispatched to the 1200blk of Osboourne Rd for a shed fire to the rear of a home. Assistant 49 arrived and reported it was a large pile of wood that was basically burnt all the way to the ground already and held the assignment to East Brandywine and Thorndale units only. Engine 38 and EBFC units arrived and placed a line in service and started to rake the pile apart to completely extinguish it. Two trees next to the pile also sustained damage and the homeowner was advised to have them removed. Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes before clearing.
