| On Thursday evening May 23rd several Volunteers of the East Brandywine Fire Company were recognized at the Annual Chester County EMS Awards Ceremony.
Their recognition came as a result of a cardiac arrest save which occurred a few months prior. Personnel from Engine 49-5, QRS 49, Ambulance 144, and Medic 93 worked collaboratively and their results were a life saved.
The following personnel from each entity received a Clinical Save Commendation.

In addition East Brandywine Fire Company's EMS Director Cathie Rawlings received the Distinguished Provider Award in conjunction with Leo Scaccia, Hazel Stanton, and Craig Shaffer. Their work with Medic 93 over the last 30 years has helped shape the ALS system in Chester County.
