| On Wednesday November 20th, East Brandywine Fire Company Volunteers took a night off from training for Captains’ Appreciation Night.
Captain Vince D’Amico organized the event to show his appreciation for the remarkable turnout at weekly trainings. Over the last 2 months East Brandywine has been averaging 25 to 30 people in attendance at weekly training. The Captain’s opening remarks reflected how happy he has been with energy being devoted to truck checks and drills.
All those in attendance received raffle tickets for flashlights, rescue gloves, hats, and gift cards for dinner. In addition everyone was given a rescue knife as a “thank-you” for his or her hard work.
Through out the night there was an on-going Cornhole Tournament and a steady flow of pizza.
The night was a huge success! The Line Officers would like to thank The FireStore for their support with providing raffle prizes. |
