| On Thursday December 10th, East Brandywine Fire Company volunteers responded to three separate automobile accidents during the day.
The first accident occurred at Route 282 and Springton Road and involved an overturned vehicle. East Brandywine personnel assessed the patient, provided traffic control, and hazard mitigation. Prior to returning to quarters the crew assisted Law Enforcement by using the hydraulic tools to pop the door.
The second accident occurred on Route 322 in the area of Osborne Road. This accident involved 3 vehicles leaving one patient confined in the car. Volunteers worked quickly to remove the doors and the "B" post to provide EMS personnel access to the patient and ease the patients removal.
The last accident occurred on Route 82 in the area of Reeceville Road and was the result of a vehicle striking a deer.
The Officers and Members of East Brandywine wish all the victims of today's auto-accidents a speedy recovery.
